Mine arrived in perfect condition, no foul odour and no defects. The only thing that should be noted is that the bracers will slip right off if you're thin and wear them on bare skin, even if you tighten them all the way (5'10, 90 lbs here). This can be prevented by wearing them over a long-sleeved shirt or arm wrap, however, so I am still able to use them!
