i wore this to the renaissance festival dressed as a pirate and i got many compliments, it was my first year dressing up and it was awesome. i also went to a murder mystery birthday party (i was the murderer 😈) and it fit so well! great! i had an undershirt that had ruffles so i took out the string but it still worked!

My husband wore this to a Renaissance Faire and looked mighty fine in it. 10 stars just for that (hey man, happy wife, happy life) but quality was good and all that too. Fit was true to size. Go ahead and buy this shirt, gentlemen. No one will be sorry 😄
This worked out for my Halloween costume, but it is on the longer side and tight at the bottom, so I'd order a size larger than you think you need based on the size chart if you have wider upper hips. That said, I was able to fold the bottom of the shirt up inside and this resolved the issue without looking bulky. It fit as expected through the shoulders, chest, and waist. The fabric isn't shiny but still isn't a quality I'd suggest for regular wear, if you're looking for something to incorporate into your regular wardrobe.

This shirt will be great for my Robin Hood costume and to wear to renaissance fair. Be careful with what size you order because it doesn’t stretch at all, so even though it fits on me it was difficult to get on and off. I don’t like how it didn’t come already laced, and the cord it came with wasn’t finished on the ends, so it was already frayed and unraveling when I got it. Lacing the front was difficult without any instructions and with the unfinished cord.
It looks neat.
